Heart granny square crochet pattern:

With A:

Round 1: Make a magic ring. Ch 3, 2 dc, ch2, *3 dc, ch2 – repeat from * three times (into magic ring). Pull the tail to close the ring.  Join with sl st to top of ch-3.

Round 2: sl st, ch3, dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, *3 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round – repeat from * three times, dc. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.

In the next rounds, when you want to change colors, you need to work the last stitch until there are 2 loops left on the hook. Then pull in the new color. Do not cut old color and work the next stitch(es) over it.

Round 3: sl st, ch3, 2 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 2 dc; Switch to color B – 3 dc, Switch to color A – 2 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 sp of previous round, *7 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 sp of previous round – repeat from * twice times, 4 dc. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.

Round 4: sl st, ch3, 3 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 2 dc, switch to color B, 7 dc, switch to color A, 2 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 9 dc, switch to color B, 2 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 2 dc, switch to color A, 7 dc, switch to color B, 2 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 2 dc, switch to color A, 5 dc. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.

Round 5: sl st, ch3. 2 dc, switch to color B, 2 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 15 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 2 dc, switch to color A, 7 dc, switch to color B, 6 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 6 dc, switch to color A, 3 dc, switch to color B, 6 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, 6 dc, switch to color A, 4 dc. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.

Round 6:  Switch to color B. ch3, 5 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round, *19 dc, [2dc, ch2, 2dc] – in ch-2 space of previous round – repeat from * three times, 13 dc. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.
