Easter Crochet Mini Basket Pattern
(T-Shirt Yarn)

Crochet materials and tools:

<> Crochet hook 7 mm and 9 mm

<> Jersey Knit Material (T-shirt yarn) – 90% cotton, 10% polyester, 200 grams per 1 ball.

Common abbreviations of crochet stitches:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

sl st – slip stitch

st – stitch

yo – yarn over

Crochet mini basket pattern:

Round 1: Make adjustable ring. 6 sc into the ring. Join.

How to join the round:  insert the hook from back to front into the first sc (underneath both loops) and pull the last loop through. After that again insert the hook underneath the loop that you just formed and place last loop back on the hook, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook. We have joined the first Round. Check video tutorial for detailed instructions.

Round 2: Ch 1 (count as 1 sc), 2 sc in each st around, 1 sc in the same stitch as ch 1 – 12 sc. Join as 1^st round.

Round 3: Ch 1 (count as 1 sc), [2 sc, 1 sc] – repeat 5 times, 2 sc – 18 sc. Join as 1^st round.

Round 4: Ch 1 (count as 1 sc), [1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc] – repeat 5 times, 1sc, 1 sc, 1 sc in the same stitch as ch 1 – 24 sc. Join as 1^st round.

Round 5: in back loops only, work 1 sc in each stitch around. Join as 1^st round.

Round 6-9: work 1 sc in each sts around – 24 csc. Join as 1^st round. Do not cut the yarn and go on with basket handle.

Finish crocheting basket with one round of sl st into each stitch around the border preliminary switching to the bigger size crochet hook (9 mm). Join as shown in the video.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.
