Cute Crochet Ribbing Pattern for Hats

There are a lot of crochet ribbings that I have tried and used for my crochet projects. But the one that really stands out among them is the one I’m sharing today with you.

Crochet materials and tools:

<> Crochet hook 4.5mm (US 7 /UK 7)

<> Wine (DK) – 100% acrylic: 50 grams -124 m per skein.

Common abbreviations of crochet stitches:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

hdc –half double crochet

hdc blo –half double crochet back loop only

sl st – slip stitch

sl st blo – slip stitch back loop only

st – stitch

Crochet ribbing pattern:

This crochet ribbing is worked flat. Chain any even number. Chain 12.

Row 1: sl st in 2^nd ch from hook, *hdc in next ch, sl st in next ch, repeat from * across.

Row 2: ch 1, sl st blo in the 1^st st, *hdc blo in next st, sl st blo in the next st, repeat from * across.

Repeat Row 2.
