Crochet Moon Pattern
(New, Full, Crescent, Gibbous)

Whether you are learning moon phases with your toddler or planning to make a space applique or, perhaps, craft a mobile for your baby’s bedroom, this crochet moon pattern can help you get started.

In the first half of the pattern, you can find eight crochet moon phases (new moon, waning crescent, waning gibbous, full moon, waxing gibbous, and waxing crescent). You can opt to crochet all eight moon phases or just make a simplified version with just four phases.

In the second half of the pattern, you will find a flat crescent moon that, with a bit of tuning, you can turn into an amigurumi or simply attach a string to hang it.

Whatever crochet moon you like more, feel free to experiment with yarn color or the pattern itself and share your project photos on my Instagram profile.
