Crochet Jasmine Stitch Coaster Pattern
Pattern Sections

The Jasmine Stitch is a beautifully textured crochet stitch made from clusters of puff stitches, creating a floral, star-like effect. Each stitch has multiple loops, making it thick and plush — perfect for cozy accessories and standout projects. Because of its volume, it’s a stitch that adds warmth, texture, and visual interest to your work.
Jasmine stitch project ideas:
Here are some ways to use this versatile stitch:
-
- Scarves and Cowls: Start with a foundation row of puff stitches, then build the Jasmine Stitch across the desired length. For a cowl, simply sew the ends together for a cozy circular accessory.
- Textured Bags: The thickness of the Jasmine Stitch makes a durable, eye-catching bag. Consider lining it with fabric to prevent small items from slipping through.
- Mini Home Decor: Create trivet mats, coasters, or small pillows to show off the stitch’s unique texture.
Why you’ll love the jasmine stitch
Reversible Design: The stitch looks great on both the front and back, making it ideal for scarves, blankets, or bags where both sides are visible.
Customizable Thickness: You can adjust the number of loops per puff to make your stitches thicker or thinner, depending on your project.
Great for Accessories: Its dense structure works wonderfully for hats, cowls, and decorative items.

For my part, I used the Jasmine Stitch to make a coaster, and I absolutely love how the texture turned out — thick, plush, and full of character. I’m excited to see how you’ll use this stitch in your own projects! Whether it’s accessories, bags, home decor, or something completely new, I can’t wait to see the creative ways you bring the Jasmine Stitch to life.
