<> Caron, Simply Soft (4) –100% acrylic, 288 meter per 170 grams skein or any other type of yarn.
Color A – Yellow

With A:
Round 1: Make a magic ring. Into magic ring: Ch 3 (count as 1st DC), 2 DC, ch 1, [3 DC, ch1] – repeat 5 times. Pull the tail to close the ring. Join to top of starting ch 3. To change the color in the next round, insert the hook into the top of the starting chain 3, yarn over, draw up a loop, and when you have 2 loops left on the hook, pull in the new color. Then, cut Color A. (18 DC)
Color B:
Round 2: ch 3, 2 DC in the same ch-1 space. *[3 DC, ch1, 3 DC] – in next ch-1 space, repeat from * 5 times, 3 DC in 1st ch-1 space. Ch 1, join to top of starting ch 3 and change the color. Do not cut Color B. Carry color not in use along the edge, so when we will need it, we can change color easily.
In the next rounds, when you want to change colors, you need to work the last stitch until there are 2 loops left on the hook. Then pull in the new color. Do not cut the old color and work the next stitches over it.
Color A:
Round 3: ch3, 2 DC in last ch-1 sp of Round 2, *switch to color B, 3 DC in next space, switch to color A, [3 DC, ch1, 3 DC] – in next ch-1 space, repeat from * 5 times. Switch to color B, 3 DC in the next space, and switch to color A, 3 DC in 1st ch-1 space. Ch 1, join to the top of starting ch 3 and change the color.
Color B:
Round 4: ch 3, 2 DC in last ch-1 sp of Round 3, *switch to color A, 3 DC in next space, 3 DC in next space, switch to color B, [3 DC, ch1, 3 DC] – in next ch-1 space, repeat from * 5 times, switch to color A, 3 DC in next space, 3 DC in next space, switch to color B, 3 DC in 1st ch-1 space. Ch 1, join to the top of starting ch 3 and change the color.
Color A:
Round 5: ch 3, 2 DC in last ch-1 sp of Round 4, *switch to color B, 3 DC in next space, switch to color A, 3 DC in next space, switch to color B, 3 DC in next space, switch to color A, [3 DC, ch1, 3 DC] – in next ch-1 space, repeat from * 5 times, switch to color B, 3 DC in next space, switch to color A, 3 DC in next space, switch to color B, 3 DC in next space, switch to color A, 3 DC in 1st ch-1 space. Ch 1 and join to the top of starting ch 3.
Cut both colors. Weave in ends.
