Crochet Fingerless Hand Warmers Pattern

When I moved to Canada a few years ago I stayed at my friends in Toronto for a couple of weeks. Since it was winter I spent a lot of time exploring the downtown area in the first few days. Unfortunately for me, there wasn’t any snow yet, but it was very windy and, for the first time in my life, I got dry skin rash from the cold winter air. The feeling of a rash was truly horrible, the skin on my hands was burning, cracking, and hurting… After that, I never go out without a pair of gloves, mittens, or hand warmers during the cold season.

One of the less explored options compared to gloves and mittens are hand warmers that will keep you warm and your skin protected while allowing for an obstacle-free interaction with your phone or tablet, or simply tying up loose shoelaces. This pattern covers how to crochet ribbed hand warmers from a rectangular and seam it up at the end. Even the total beginners can make them. You can easily customize the length of the hand warmers and pick your favourite color of yarn. A pro tip – make at least two sets of hand warmers in different colors to fit your style and mood of the day, and add embellishments to make them truly unique. The ribbed flair of these hand warmers allows for a nice fit while solid color accentuates a more conservative design (although depends on the color).

Lastly, these crochet unisex hand warmers are part of a trio set that also includes a matching crochet ribbed neck warmer and crochet twisted ear warmer.
