Bulky bandana cowl crochet pattern:
Ch 16 + 1 extra. Chain more if needed.
Row 1: Starting in the second loop from hook, sl st in each chain across. Turn. (16)
Row 2: Ch1, sl st blo in next 16 sts, ch 2. Turn.
Row 3: Starting in the second loop from hook, sl st in each stitch across. Turn. (17)
Row 4: Ch1, sl st blo in next 17 sts, ch 2. Turn.
Row 5: Starting in the second loop from hook, sl st in each stitch across. Turn. (18)
Row 6: Ch1, sl st blo in next 18 sts, ch 2. Turn.
Row 7: Starting in the second loop from hook, sl st in each stitch across. Turn. (19)
Row 8: Ch1, sl st blo in next 19 sts, ch 2. Turn.
Continue repeating the last two rows until you reach either 29 stitches or until the width of your cowl measures 35-36 cm.
Decreases:
Row 1: ch 1, sl st blo in next 28 sts. Leave one stitch unworked. Turn.
Row 2: ch 1, sl st blo in next 28 sts. (28)
Row 3: ch 1, sl st blo in next 27 sts. Leave one stitch unworked. Turn.
Row 4: ch 1, sl st blo in next 27 sts. (27)
Row 5: ch 1, sl st blo in next 26 sts. Leave one stitch unworked. Turn.
Row 6: ch 1, sl st blo in next 26 sts. (26)
Continue repeating the last two rows until you have a total of 16 stitches.
Assembling:
Fold the cowl wrong side out (choose the side you like to be your right side). The working yarn is attached to the front piece. Ch1, *insert the hook into the front loop and then into the single loop on the other side, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on the hook. Repeat from * till the end. Cut the yarn and weave in all ends.
