Oval leaf crochet pattern:

Chain 13.

Round 1: SC in 2^nd chain from hook, HDC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, 2 DC in the next ch, TR in the next ch, 2 DC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, HDC in the next ch, SC in the next ch, [SC, ch1, SC] – in last ch. Now working on the other side of the chain, SC in next ch, HDC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, 2 DC in the next ch, TR in the next ch, 2 DC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, DC in the next ch, HDC in the next ch, SC in the next ch. Join with sl st in 1^st SC.

Round 2: ch1, SC in the same stitch as joining, SC in next 13 sts, SC in ch 1 of previous round, ch 1, SC in next 14 sts. Join with sl st in 1^st SC.

Round 3: ch 1, sl st in the same stitch as joining. [ch1, sl st in the next st] – repeat around. Join.
