Mosaic granny square crochet pattern:
With A:
Round 1: Make a magic ring. Into magic ring: Ch 3 (count as DC), 2 DC, ch 2, *[3 DC, ch2] – repeat from * twice. 3 DC, instead of next ch 2, make DC in the top of beginning ch 3.
Round 2: Ch 3 (count as DC), DC in ch-2 sp, ch 3,* [2 DC, ch 2, 2 DC] in next ch-2 sp, ch 3 – repeat from three times. 2 DC in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, sl st to the top of beginning ch 3. Cut the yarn.
Join Color B to any ch-2 sp.
Round 3: SC in ch-2 sp, SC in next 2 sts, FPDC around DC of the 1st Rnd in next 3 sts, SC in next 2 sts, *[SC, ch1, SC] – in ch-2 sp, SC in next 2 sts, FPDC around DC of the 1st Rnd in next 3 sts, SC in next 2 sts – repeat from * 3 times. [SC, ch 1] – in next ch-2 sp, sl st to the 1st SC. Cut the yarn.
Join Color A to any ch-1 sp.
Round 4: ch 3 (count as DC), 2 DC in ch-1 sp, ch 2, skip next 3 sts, DC in next 3 sts (work as well underneath ch-3 of Rnd 2), ch 2, skip next 3 sts, * [3 DC, ch2, 3 DC] – in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, skip next 3 sts, DC in next 3 sts, ch 2, skip next 3 sts – repeat from * 3 times. Join Color B to any ch-2 sp (corner).

Join Color A to any ch-1 sp.
