<> Crochet hook 4.5 mm
<> Loops&Threads, Impeccable –100% acrylic yarn. Color of your choice. In total 65 grams.
Crochet rectangular scarf size:
Gauge: 16 stitches = 4 inches
Width: 25 cm (10”)
Length: 45 cm (17.5”)
Common abbreviations of crochet stitches:
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc blo – half double crochet back loop only
sl st – slip stitch
Crochet rectangular scarf pattern:
Ch 40. The chain must measure now about 27-28 cm. Chain more if needed.
Row 1: Starting in the second loop from hook, 1 sc in each chain across. Turn. (39 sc)
Row 2: Ch1, sc, *ch1, skip the next stitch, sc – repeat from * till the end. Turn.
Row 3: Ch1. Sc, sc in next ch-1 space, *ch1, sc in next ch-1 space – repeat from * till the end, sc into the last stitch. Turn.
Row 4: Ch1, sc, *ch1, sc in next ch-1 space – repeat from * till the end. Turn.
Row 5: Ch1. Sc, sc in next ch-1 space, *ch1, sc in next ch-1 space – repeat from * till the end, sc into the last stitch. Turn.
Repeat Rows 4 and 5 until you reach 44-45 cm. Cut the yarn leaving a 30-35 cm tail. Fold the cowl as shown in the video (11:00). The length of the two attaching sides must be about 10 cm.
For the assembling part, I do recommend watching a video tutorial starting from the 11th minute.
