Unisex one-row scarf crochet pattern:
Crochet the scarf:
Row 1: Ch 30 or any even number. Work through the back ridges of the chain. 1 SC in the 2nd back ridge from the hook and in each back ridge across. Turn. (29 SC)
Row 2: Ch1, SC in next st, SC flo in next 27 sts, SC in the last st. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, SC in next st, [DC in the back loop of the next SC from previous row, SC flo in the next st] – repeat until the last 2 stitches, DC in the back loop of the next SC from previous row, SC in the last st. Turn.
Repeat Row 3 until the scarf reaches desired length.
Finish the scarf:
Next Row: Ch1, SC in next st, [DC in the back loop of the next SC from previous row, SC in the next st] – repeat until the last 2 stitches, DC in the back loop of the next SC from previous row, SC in the last st. Turn.
Next Row: Ch 1, SC in each stitch across. This ensures both edges look the same.
