Crochet Musical Note Bookmark Pattern

Musical note bookmark crochet pattern:
Round 1: Leave 20 cm tail. Chain 7. 2 SC into 2nd ch from hook, SC in next 4 ch, 4 SC in last ch. Now working on the other side of the chain: SC in next 4 ch, 2 SC in next ch. Join with sl st in 1st SC.
Round 2: ch 1, 2 SC in the same stitch as joining, SC in next two sts, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 3 sts, 2 SC in next st, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 3 sts, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 3 sts, 2 SC in next st. Join with sl st in 1st SC.
Round 3: ch 1, 2 SC in the same stitch as joining, SC in next 2 sts, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 3 sts, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 2 sts, 2 SC in next st, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 2 sts, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 3 sts, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 3 sts, 2 SC in next st. Join with sl st in 1st SC.
Round 4: Leg: ch 35, SC in 2nd ch from hook, SC in next 33 ch. Work around note: Insert the hook into the same stitch as joining and draw up a loop, insert the hook into the next st, draw up a 2nd loop, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on your hook. SC in next 12 sts, 2 SC in next st, 2 SC in next st, SC in next 15 sts, 2 SC in next st. Work on the other side of leg: SC in next 30 sts, ch 14, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, SC in next ch, HDC in next 2 ch, DC in next 7 ch, HDC in next ch, SC in next ch. Work along the leg again: SC in next 4 st. Join. Cut the yarn and weave in ends.
Return to the beginning where you have left a tail. If you do not like holes that were formed along foundation chain, use the tail (bring it on the right side), and make sl st in each hole across the chain. Check the video tutorial for additional instructions.
