Crochet 3-D Heart Pattern

Crochet tools and materials:
<> Crochet hook 3.5 mm
<> Use DK or Medium weight yarn. The smaller the heart you want to get, the lighter the yarn you need to use.
<> Yarn needle, fiberfill for stuffing.
Common abbreviations of crochet stitches (US):
ch – chain
SC – single crochet
st(s) – stitch(es)
SC2tog – Insert the hook into the next stitch through the front loop only, yarn over and pull up a loop. Insert the hook into the following stitch (front loop only), yarn over and pull up another loop. Yarn over and pull through all three loops on the hook.
3-D heart crochet pattern:
First Top Curve (First Lobe):
Round 1: Magic ring: 6 SC. No join needed, go on working in spital. (6)
Round 2: 2 SC each stitch around. No join. (12)
Rounds 3-4: SC in each st around. (12) Cut the yarn leaving the 10 cm tail.
Second Top Curve (Second Lobe):
Repeat the last 4 rounds of the first curve. Do not cut the yarn; this will be used to join both parts.
Round 5: SC in the next 6 stitches, SC in each stitch of the first curve (12 stitches in total), SC in the next 6 stitches of the second curve. Do not join. (24)
Use the tail of the first curve to sew the hole between the lobes.
Round 6: [SC in next 2 sts, SC2tog] – 6 times. (18)
Round 7: SC in each stitch around. (18)
Round 8: [SC in next st, SC2tog] – 6 times. (12)
Round 9: SC in each stitch around. (12) Start stuffing the heart with fiberfill at this point.
Round 10: [SC2tog] – 6 times (6)
Fasten off and weave in the ends securely.
