Bernat, Premium (4) – 100% acrylic. 198 grams – 329 meters per skein. Color: Baby Lilac. Yarn Needed: 120 grams.

Crochet wavy stich cowl size:

Gauge: 15 sts = 4 inches

Finished size: 27.5 x 50 cm (25 cm folded) / 10.5 x 19.5 inches

Wavy stitch cowl crochet pattern:

Crochet the cowl:

Row 1: Ch 42 or any number multiple of 7. 

Ch 1. 1 HDC into the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn

Row 2: Ch 1, 1 HDC blo in each st across. Turn. 

Note: Work the very last stitch of each row through both loops.

Row 3: Ch 1, 1 sl st blo in each st across. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, 1 sl st blo in each st across. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 1, HDC blo in each st across. Turn.

Row 6: Ch 1, [HDC blo in next 6 sts, hdc5r-below] – repeat 5 times, HDC blo in next 7 sts. Turn.

Row 7: Ch 1, 1 HDC blo in each st across. Turn. 

Row 8: Ch 1, 1 HDC blo in each st across. Turn. 

Row 9: Ch 1, 1 sl st blo in each st across. Turn.

Row 10: Ch 1, 1 sl st blo in each st across. Turn.

Row 11: Ch 1, 1 HDC blo in each st across. Turn.

Row 12: Ch 1, HDC blo in next 3 sts, hdc5r-below, [HDC blo in next 6 sts, hdc5r-below] – repeat 5 times, HDC blo in next 3 sts. Turn.

Repeat Rows 1–12 until the cowl reaches 50–51 cm, or stop after Row 6 if your desired length is reached earlier.

Sewing the cowl:

Fold the cowl with the wrong side facing out. Insert the hook into the back loop of the stitch on one side and into the corresponding loop on the opposite side (where the initial chain was). Yarn over and pull through all three loops on the hook. Repeat this process across the edge to join. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
