Crochet Summer Mesh Bandana Pattern

Crochet materials and tools:

Crochet Hook 2.5 mm 

Cascade Yarns, Ultrapima – 100% pima cotton. 100 grams – 200 meters per skein. Quantity – 49-50 grams

Width: 70 cm (27.5 in)

Height: 32 cm (12.5 in)

ch – chain

SC – single crochet

DC – double crochet

sl st – slip stitch

Summer bandana crochet pattern:

Row 1: Ch 9. DC into the 1st ch. Turn. (This forms the first mesh or loop)

Row 2: Ch 8. SC into the center of the mesh, ch 5, DC into the 3rd chain from the bottom of the starting chain-9. Turn. (This completes two mesh arches in this row)

Row 3: Ch 8, SC into the center of the 1st mesh, ch 5, SC into the center of the 2 mesh, Ch 5, DC into the 3rd chain from the bottom of the chain 8 from the previous row. Turn. (This completes three mesh arches in this row)

Row 4: Ch 8. SC into the center of the 1st mesh. [Ch 5, SC into the center of the next mesh] — repeat across. At the end, ch 5, DC into the 3rd chain from the bottom of the ch-8 from the previous row. Turn. (You’ll now have 4 meshes in this row.)

Row 5: Ch 8, SC into the center of the 1st mesh, ch 5, SC into the center of the next mesh — repeat across. Ch 5, DC into the 3rd ch from the bottom of the ch-8 from the previous row. Turn. (5 meshes completed)
