Fingerless gloves crochet pattern:
Crochet cuff of the fingerless glove:
Chain 10+2.
Row 1: HDC in the 3rd ch from the hook, and in each chain across, turn. (10 HDC)
Rows 2-20: ch 2, HDC blo in next 10 sts. Turn. At the end of row 20, the cuff measures 15 cm.
At the end of row 20, bring the first and last rows together to form a circle. Single crochet closed, going underneath both loops of the last completed row and the chain spaces from the first row (10 sl st). Turn the cuff right side out.
Crochet body of the fingerless glove:
Round 1: ch 1, work 2 SC into ends of HDC rows on cuff. Join to 1st SC(42 SC)
The final stitch count must be a multiple of 3. If you crocheted 20 rows for the cuff, as I did, you will have 40 stitches at the end of this round. However, since 40 is not a multiple of 3, we will need to add 2 more stitches to reach a total of 42 stitches. It’s important to note that when dividing the final number of stitches by 3, you must obtain an even number.
For example:
42 / 3 = 14, which is an even number.
39 / 3 = 13, which is an odd number and will not work for the pattern.
Round 2: Ch 3(count as DC), 2 DC into the same st as join, *skip next 2 sts, SC in next st, skip next 2 sts, 5 DC in next sts – repeat from * till the end, skip next 2 sts, SC in next st, skip next 2 sts, 2 DC into the same st as join. Sl st to the top of starting ch-3.
