Hello Fellow Crocheters
My name is Ann and I’m passionate crocheter and knitter. Crochet and knitting are two of my favourite hobbies along with learning foreign languages together with my 4 y.o. daughter and watching asian movies (mostly Korean daramas) while coming up with a next crochet project.
I started my handmade journey back in 2007 when I was studying in the university and found an interesting post about crochet jacket for a kid online. I really wanted to make a similar one, but didn’t know how to crochet it, so I started watching numerous crochet tutorials on YouTube to learn crochet technics. Step by step I learned some basics and gradually crocheted my first kids bib and baby cocoon that I gifted to my roomie for her newborn son. Since then, crochet hooks and yarn travel with me everywhere.
English is not my mother tongue, that’s why you might occasionally find grammatical mistakes or typos in the posts, even though I try to improve all the time and double check every post with grammar tools :). At the moment I’m actively learning Italian and Spanish languages with my daughter that requires a lot of energy but also feels super rewarding when the baby is able to speak back or read in different languages.
As for the crochet bits, I’m trying to do my best to accompany every crochet pattern here with a video tutorial on my YouTube channel. Though, occasionally shooting the video might not be worth it if the project is very small or overly simplistic. I strive to keep the balance of sharing the projects with varying level of complexity, ranging from beginner to advanced.
I’ll do my best to answer all your questions when I have a free minute, so don’t hesitate to ask or leave a comment below the posts. That’s all – enjoy here always free crochet patterns!
Thanks a lot for visiting my blog and have a great time here!
Cheers, Ann
